Abstract:
This article studies the inaugural lecture Rigans Montes by St. Thomas Aquinas with the aim not only of getting to know Aquinas’s first reflections on the teacher and his value, but also to try to discover whether this work already contains his doctrine on the action of teaching, which he would later develop in works such as De Veritate and the Summa Theologiae, in which his thought is already mature.
Key words:
Thomas Aquinas, teacher, teaching, enlightenment, providence.
